New Delhi witnessed yet another scintillating evening as India’s top 12 most celebrated bartenders competed against each other in the Remy Martin Talent Academy.

The event was hosted at the exclusive members only bar – HOME by PVR Director’s Cut. The Jury comprised of Himanshu Desai, the second prize winner in the global finals of Remy Martin Bartender Talent Academy 2018, Minakshi Singh, co founder of Delhi NCR’s most loved cocktail bars – Cocktails & Dreams and Sidecar, Arjun Sagar Gupta, founder of Delhi’s Piano Man and Jamie Rhind, the sea guest, the Bar Operations Manager of Asia’s 50 Best Bars 2018, Bamboo Bar at Mandarin Oriental, Bangkok.

The cocktail competition was all about finding the one all rounder who possesses not just excellent bartending skills but is a great storyteller and a master of the art of a smooth execution. In 15 minutes, the bartenders had to prepare two cocktails – a classic Cognac concoction & a contemporary Cognac concoction.

They showcased some excellent skills as they smoothly played with the bitters, juices, syrups, spices etc in sync with beautiful stories and an wholesome experience for the judges and the audience. The cocktails were not just a feast for the tongue but also a sight for the eyes!

Finally, the result of the most anticipated cocktail competition was announced and Agnieszka Rozenska of Hong Kong Club, New Delhi was awarded as the winner.

Agnieszka’s contemporary winning cocktail, Certainly Ma’am was a unique concoction of Remy Martin, plum, cloves and cacao nibs shrub, Campari, lemon juice, yogurt and chocolate bitters.

Agnieszka Rozenska will now represent India in the global finals of the Remy Martin Bartender Talent Academy and compete with 10  representatives from all over the world at Cognac, France.
